The developers of the excellent game Redfall were inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, Diablo, and Borderlands

Representatives from Arkane Studios told gamers about what games inspired them to create a luxurious open-world shooter, Redfall. As it turned out, the classic multiplayer video games served as inspiration. Note that Redfall is not the studio's first experience in cooperative multiplayer. Gamers also know the popular 2019 game Wolfenstein: Young Blood.

So, as it turns out, Redfall was inspired by the games they played together over the years. It should be noted a whole series of games in the genre of action role-playing game Diablo, as well as the spectacular fantasy shooter Borderlands. The project's co-author, Ricardo Bare, confessed his preferences to the fans. And the studio director said that when creating the shooter, they were also inspired by the fantasy multiplayer role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, which the developers liked to play in their spare time.

The studio executives noted that they are "just D&D players who think that video games can be even cooler."

Redfall is a first-person shooter video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
