Developer CD Project RED said that an interesting DLC for the action RPG had become the most ambitious in terms of budget, pushing the previous brainchild of the studio. The Phantom Liberty game add-on has the largest budget, and the novelty's scale is impressive. Before this record, the most significant addition of the developer company was the Blood and Wine DLC for the popular action/RPG The Witcher 3, which gained considerable popularity.

So, Phantom Liberty can be described as a spy thriller. The action takes place in the new region of Night City. Note that Keanu Reeves returned with Idris Elba. So part of the vast budget planned for the game's development will go to voice acting. The long-awaited expansion is due out this year.
