Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Will Feature A Full World Map

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be the first game in the Borderlands franchise to feature the first full-fledged world map, giving players the ability to seek secrets outside of missions.

In a conversation with Play Magazine, Gearbox developers talked about how a unique loot-shooter with a fantasy theme is combined. And one of the main differences from the main series is the way players move around the world. Instead of jumping from zone to zone, occasionally visiting a ship to travel to the next planet, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands connects everything with one coherent map. As creative director Matt Cox pointed out, the game will feature our very own live board game.

The general map is, for the most part, made up of high-quality miniatures moving around the landscape. And since all of this literally happens in a board game run by Tina, it will be a creative mess. On this map, we will move by controlling a mini-version of the character, you can walk from mission to mission, or you can take a step to the side and receive certain rewards for this.

According to the developers, exploring the world will allow you to open story cards, while additional initiative will be rewarded with third-party cards that have their own main quests and plots, but are self-sufficient and are not directly related to the main story. In addition, there will be monsters and other surprises - the action will be enough always and everywhere.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an upcoming cooperative first-person RPG looter shooter set in the Borderlands universe. The game is dedicated to Tiny Tina, an explosives expert, and is set in a fantasy world. During the passage, the player will be able to create and customize his character. Tiny Tina herself acts as the gamemaster of the board game - this explains the presence of dragons, unicorns, and other fantasy in the frame.

In the recently released trailer for the game, the developers have introduced two new classes. The first class called Spellshot is dedicated to players who love magic tricks. Such a character can make numerous magic things including unleashing fire, ice, and other forces on their enemies. The second presented class is Clawbringer. This hero beats his enemies with a wield large hammer as well as they are followed by a cute dragon. The hammer can be used both in close and distance combats as Clawbringer can throw it.
