Marvel Avengers game-breaking bug on PS5 seemed impossible to fix without players' progress being deleted.
Square Enix declared that the only solution to manage game crashing on Playstation5 is to reset the game and lose all the progress. But unfortunately, the given idea does not sound ideal for gamers. They claimed all the time that the game crashes when you try to upload it. Furthermore, they stated it is impossible to play due to bugs.
Thanks to a new update issued by developers, PS5 owners can break the crushing problem. Before the update on March 30, developers wrote on Twitter about their attempts to solve the problem. They promised to eliminate crashes soon: "We think we've identified a fix that is currently being implemented/tested." However, they asked players not to be in a hurry and wait for a patch; otherwise, they risk losing their game progress.
Impatient players, unwilling to wait for fixing the issue, got a piece of advice from Square Enix. They recommended going to Operations and wiping the progress. After that action, players had to create a new file and launch the game immediately by pressing the central controller button. You will see the home screen of the PS5, then exit the game. According to developers, it could solve the crashing issue.
On the next day, they announced an update release aimed at game problems. Moreover, they asked to inform them in case of problem repetition.
Now players can enjoy the Marvel Avengers game without the need to delete the game save.
