The video game Elden Ring has acquired ray tracing, but gamers have big questions about the performance

The companies Bandai Namco and  FromSoftware Studio announced the release of a new patch, 1.09, on all gaming platforms, significantly enriching the game. The primary difference in this update is the ray tracing.

Note that the novelty's creators stated in November 2021 that such an innovation would appear soon. However, as you can see, the players had to wait quite a long time. "Rays" at that time were activated only in the novelty's PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X versions. Xbox Series S players were not lucky enough to try this technology.

Those wishing to try ray tracing on PC should carefully review the requirements for a  fantasy role-playing novelty  Elden Ring with ray tracing enabled.

Note that the demonstration of this function will still have to wait, but the player Lance McDonald managed to test an exciting technology and shared his impressions. According to him, this function is generally evident in open areas, not closed spaces.

In addition to spectacular ray tracing, the update gave players a balance adjustment for some skills and various types of weapons, and they were also pleased with bug fixes. Recall that the popular game was released on February 25 last year. Sales of new items immediately exceeded twenty million copies.
