Microsoft is having some issues. The UK antitrust authority noted that purchasing Activision Blizzard by the well-known Microsoft company could cause significant harm to UK players. For example, this can lead to higher prices, less innovation, and less choice.
The CMA noted that firms have the right to refuse the voiced concerns and make an informed decision regarding this transaction.

It is only a preliminary opinion of the Office for Competitive Markets. The decision to block the deal has yet to be made. The company has the opportunity to answer the questions raised, as well as make some changes.
