The ping system in Modern Warfare 2 has been disabled due to player complaints about a bug

The developer of the spectacular shooter turned off the ping system almost immediately after players complained about the so-called "wallhack" bug. The studio did not make any official statements either on the website or on social networks. However, fans of the game novelty immediately noticed that the ping system soon stopped functioning. It happened just a couple of hours after the release of the shooter. It is not yet known when exactly this function can be restored.

What is the essence of the bug? Players could easily ping the enemy during the death screen, and this ping lasted throughout the gameplay, allowing the player to be tracked until the end of the game. That is, gamers could easily track where the opponents were, even if they were at the other end of the game map or behind the walls.

A gamer's post about this bug was liked by other members of the gaming community approximately 5,000 times. There were also many comments under the post. Players said that they noticed a similar bug more than once.

Recall that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a popular shooter video game developed by the famous company Infinity Ward. Players expect the most incredible battles and a great arsenal of weapons. Probably, right now, the company is working to ensure that the error has been fixed.
