The Outbound Ghost controversy: the developer filed a DMCA against the publisher

A scandal erupted in the gaming community. Conradical Games has stated that publisher Digerati continues to distribute The Outbound Ghost video game despite no longer having any rights. The developers are unhappy that they "did not receive a single dollar from the publisher" for distributing the video game, as well as that the publisher deliberately "underestimates revenues" and does not comply with the requirements when resolving problems with console ports. Digerati completely denies the allegations made against them.

So, the platform developer company filed a copyright infringement claim against the publisher Digerati. This litigation has been going on for a long time.

The video game immediately gained great popularity. The novelty was released on Steam in September last year, and in November, the game was released for PS 4 and 5. But soon after the release of the novelty, several troubles happened. On December 12th, Grinheim, the company's lead developer, posted an announcement ending Con Radical Games' business relationship with the publisher. In turn, representatives of the company Digerati said that the developers violated the license agreement regarding the game. Greenheim countered that the publisher had yet to pay what it owed - namely, payments reflecting the game's sales. The confrontation between companies continues. Alas, now the video game is no longer available on Steam.

But the novelty is presented on PS 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
