The creators of the spectacular DLC for Horizon Forbidden West consider PS4 unsuitable

An add-on for the popular game will be released very soon and showcase the highest quality by not releasing it on PS4. It is the opinion of the developers of the novelty.

So, the representatives of Guerrilla have announced the upcoming Burning Shores DLC for the famous novelty. The creators decided to abandon the release of the add-on on the console of the previous generation to concentrate on creating the highest-quality gaming product.

According to them, in the DLC for Horizon Forbidden West, players will see excellent graphics with a vast number of details and a special camera, which, as a rule, is used only in cutscenes. In addition, the add-on will delight gamers with large-scale spectacular battles that require a lot of memory and processing power and fast streaming technologies for flawless performance. The developers believe the PS4 cannot demonstrate excellent results in such conditions. So the game creators will focus only on the PS5 version rather than optimize for the previous generation console.

The role-playing action movie was released on February 18 last year. The add-on's release, where the main character goes on an exciting journey to post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, is expected on April 19.
