The company canceled PvE mode in the great game Overwatch 2

The company Blizzard has unveiled the roadmap for the next couple of seasons. So, the long-awaited 6th season of the novelty starts by the end of summer. In the meantime, players are disappointed about abolishing the mode. So, on May 16, an online broadcast took place, during which the novelty's creators shared exciting details and their plans with gamers.

Unfortunately, the studio decided to avoid the mode. But this was a primary gameplay feature that fans liked. When the video trailer for the 2 part just appeared, the company promised gamers to release a full-scale mode that would delight players with enemies, talents of playable characters, game maps, and so on. This great mode was supposed to come out sometime after the release of the novelty. Alas, it did not happen.

So a roadmap for the 6th season was published, where instead of a PvE mode, there are only some details about various story missions.

The refusal of the mode is justified by "the inability to cope with a large amount of planned work." So, the studio cannot release this mode without compromising the primary game content. The studio understands the players' frustration, but it simply has no other choice.

Recall that the start of the 7th season will likely take place in the second half of October 2023.
