A New Leak Of The Upcoming AC Valhalla DLC

A Reddit user under the nickname hashiqigou noticed that screenshots, a description, and a release date for an unannounced add-on to Assassin's Creed Valhalla appeared in Chinese stores ahead of time.

We are talking about the addon Dawn of Ragnarok, the name of which was revealed by the blogger j0nathan in October. According to insider Tom Henderson, the expansion will stretch for about 40 hours and will be similar to God of War. Old-school Assassin’s Creed audience doesn’t satisfy with such development of the plot of the game as it considerably differs from the origins and the routes of the series. Nevertheless, new fans seem to be impressed with the great graphics and fresh ideas of Valhalla.

As it’s noted in the leak, Dawn of Ragnarok is the most ambitious expansion in Assassin's Creed history. Events will unfold in nine worlds of Scandinavian mythology, including the homeland of the dwarves (dwarves) mentioned by j0nathan - Svartalfheim.

According to the plot of Dawn of Ragnarok, the fire giant Surt abducts Odin's son, and the main character of Assassin's Creed Valhalla will personally take part in the fate of the supreme god of German-Scandinavian mythology.

Taking into account the information from Chinese stores, Dawn of Ragnarok will release next March. Speaking of the next updates, next week Assassin's Creed Valhalla will receive update 1.4.1, which will reduce the size of the game.

According to Ubisoft Community Manager, Update 1.4.1 will require players to reload the entire game as part of a data restructuring that will not only reduce game size across all platforms but also improve overall performance, including faster screen loading and improved streaming of the data of the virtual world. It is worth clarifying that only the base game will have to be reloaded since the restructuring did not affect the add-ons.

A lot of gamers are waiting for the next update as it will significantly improve the optimization of the title. Other news related to the game included incompatibility with 12th Gen Intel Core processors with Alder Lake chips. According to Intel, Windows 10 or 11 users with processors with these chip models will not be able to run Fernbus Simulator bus driver simulator, Madden NFL 22 sports simulator, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla. To play these titles, users can use a temporary solution to the problem: enable the Legacy Game Compatibility Mode function in the BIOS, and after the system boots, press the Scroll Lock key on the keyboard.
