Great news for PlayStation Plus subscribers! On June 1st they will receive a portion of new free games including Operation: Tango for PS 5 as well as Star Wars: Squadrons and Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown for both PS 4 and PS 5. The first two games will be available to play till July 5, and the last one to August 2.
In this way, players can enjoy the remake of great fighting for 2 months! It’s not common for Sony to provide such long access to their games. Nevertheless, it’s great! Each title has a multiplayer mode, so it’s a perfect set to have fun with friends this summer.
However, it’s only the start of summertime. There are no official announcements about the next games yet. Although, the Web is full of diverse predictions, rumors, leaks, and so forth. Consequently, the bulk of subscribers wait for such titles as Observer System Redux, Borderlands 3, and Stonefly. It looks quite plausible and all of these games are available on both PS 4 and PS 5. Although, it may be just fake news.
Last year was pretty successful for Sony. Compared with the opponent Xbox Games With Gold, PlayStation Plus provides their customers excellent titles. Consequently, the popularity and demand for the subscription are rising. One of the most considerable games that were offered for PS Plus subscribers was Control and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Perhaps the games for this June are not as big as these mentioned ones, but they are still fresh and already popular.
Nevertheless, the upcoming set of titles has already spoiled an excellent statistic of Sony compared with the previous months. Of course, things are still going much better than Xbox Games With Gold ones. A significant part of the audience was disappointed by July titles and it may influence the future course of PlayStation Plus. Who knows and maybe the next time players will get some big hits.
On the other hand, the Star Wars set has millions of fans that may somehow positively impact the situation. The game is very realistic and is friendly for those who are not fans of this universe as well. Considering other titles, there is a remake of very successful fighting that is still unreleased yet and a very promising project about spies with some innovative gameplay features. Each of the games attracts a particular audience that is not as large as some undeniable hit, but in total there may be a quite big amount.
