Battlefield 2042 Players Breaking Tech Test NDA Will Be Blocked By EA

In the middle of August EA started the tech test of their upcoming title Battlefield 2042. All the participants of the test accepted the NDA which means they can't share any information about the game. Nevertheless, there are already some leaks on the Web. EA is going to punish intruders.

The tech test consists of testing the main mechanical features of the game three hours a day. To take part in a test, a player needed to have an EA Playtesting profile as well as sign Non-Disclosure Agreements. However, EA isn't satisfied with the current state of affairs as some of the participants break the rules of the agreement.

As it was reported, the company has already banned quite a lot of players. Adam Freeman, Lead Community Manager at EA Studios Europe, stated the despite many intruders, the beginning of the testing was excellent as well as now the developers have a lot of useful information and data required for the further improvements of the game.

Among the main targets of the testing were checking cross-platform features and correcting errors of PS5 performance. All testers were warned by Freeman that being under NDA implies they can't share any materials of the test including pictures, videos, streaming, and so forth. Breaking the rules and sharing such information will lead to the blocking of players' accounts. Moreover, the banned players can't take part in any future test provided by EA and maybe even the title itself when it will be released. Freeman warned testers that sharing the codes with their friends may turn out bad as well. The conditions prohibit sharing any information about a personal account.

Recently, Battlefield 2042 had some updates. A fresh film Exodus showed some details of the plot, mode, and stylistic of the game. It should be reminded that the title won't have a single-player story mode, so such videos are very important to the narrative of the game and all the fans interested in its story. In the video appeared Captain Kimble "Irish" Graves from Battlefield 4. Exodus told his story and how he got at the heart of the conflict between the United States and Russia, which will be the main subject of the game.

The official date of the release of Battlefield 2042 is October 22, 2021. The title will be available on the majority of modern platforms including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
