Frostpunk 2 Beta is Approaching, But it won’t be Free

As Frostpunk 2's launch approaches, gamers eagerly anticipate the bone-chilling excitement of survival-focused city building. The beta will begin on April 15 and offer players a glimpse into the upcoming dystopia. Originally slated for an April release, the beta has been extended to run from April 15 to April 22, featuring a segment of the sandbox mode called the "Utopia Builder Preview." Although details about the content are limited, excitement is mounting as players gear up to explore the frozen landscapes of this highly awaited sequel.

Deluxe Edition Perks

Access to the Frostpunk 2 beta is available through pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition, priced at $67.49 / £56.69 / €67.49, providing a 10% discount on Steam. Those choosing the standard version at $44.99 / £37.99 / €44.99 will miss out on the beta, which remains an exclusive perk. In addition to beta access, Deluxe Edition buyers will receive three DLCs, 72 hours of early game access, and various digital bonuses. As anticipation mounts for the sequel's release, fans must consider investing in the Deluxe Edition to embark on this icy adventure ahead of time.

Platform Exclusivity and Darker Depths

Although Frostpunk 2 will debut on consoles, the beta's icy embrace is reserved solely for PC players. Building upon the legacy of its predecessor, the new installment ventures deeper into the frostbitten abyss, introducing harrowing elements such as democracy, promising to escalate the tension and darkness to unprecedented levels. As the beta looms on the horizon, players prepare to navigate the icy wastelands, where every decision could mean the difference between survival and oblivion.
