Forza Horizon 5 Number Of Players Exceeds 1 Million

It seems like Forza Horizon 5 is going to break some records as the number of its players is impressive. Both gamers and critics are excited about the upcoming title.

The open-world racing game Forza Horizon 5 from Playground Games has yet to officially launch, but those who bought the Premium Edition of the game have access to it starting November 5th. And there are over a million of them.

As noted on Twitter, Forza Horizon 5 has already passed the million-player mark. Based on the Hall of Fame in-game leaderboard, it was recently reported that the Premium Edition has already reached over 800,000 players, but that milestone has been crossed.

Besides, the game has become the leader of the fresh Steam chart, where titles are sorted by weekly revenue. The critically acclaimed race took two places at once, displacing Age of Empires IV to second place.

Some players who have already tried Forza recognize it as one of the best racing simulators of all time. Incredible graphics for the genre, unique gameplay, and unlimited doses of pure fun made the fifth installment of the series one of the loudest games of 2021. This is really impressive because, in recent years, most even high-budget projects are quite unfinished and only show their potential after a few updates.

Forza Horizon 5 combines excellent elaboration, as well as a non-standard approach to the gameplay itself. The main feature of the series is the absence of restrictions on the player. Almost from the very beginning, the gamer gets top-end cars and does not achieve them by completing difficult races. Nevertheless, the game is full of interesting activities that will not make one bored. For example, a player can earn money to buy and upgrade cars and their house. For purchased cars, they receive bonuses from manufacturers. A player can explore the map, gain experience, upgrade auto styles, and so forth.

This time the players are sent to sunny Mexico. It is not on a 1: 1 scale, but there are locations and buildings transferred from reality. Sunny Mexico shimmers with a multitude of colors, reflected in shiny, detailed cars.

The base game is over 100GB in size depending on the platform. Judging by the comments of some players, the overall size of the game will be smaller after the update. Forza Horizon 5 will receive multi-month support. The developers will release many new cars and another mode.
