Dying Light 2 Will Require More Than 500 Hours

About how long it will take to complete the zombie action, the developers reported on social networks, publishing a comparative picture. It is worth noting that this refers to the complete passage. Most likely, the main plot will take much less time.

According to the developers, the full walkthrough is only 34 hours less than the walking journey from Warsaw, the capital of Poland, to Madrid, the capital of Spain. Sounds pretty crazy, but if the game is filled with great content, then why not?

Techland stressed that for most players, the average completion, taking into account the secondary quests, will take less than 100 hours - about 70-80. Good news for those who didn't plan on spending that much time playing Dying Light.

Olivier Deriviere, the main composer of Dying Light 2, shared new details about the release. On his Twitter, he promises that the music for the game will be very interesting and unusual. For example, when a character is jumping on rooftops, parkouring, and not just running, the music will build up. As a result, it will reach its climax, which the authors call "Parkour Stream". If an enemy in the open world attacks the character, there will be no combat music. She will play only when the character himself attacks the enemy. Each faction has its own OST and at every moment the theme of the most dangerous of the remaining enemies will sound.

Each lesson has its own music. At a windmill, water towers, subway stations, and so on. The music will follow the player's progress, but if they fail, everything will subside. The melody will play again only when the player gets to the point where he left off the last time. One of the tracks is called "Breath of the City".

If the character is in a zone belonging to a faction and does not run, the theme of that faction will play. When the character moves through the city to the point set by the storyline quest, the music from this quest will sound. But if you deviate towards the side quest, a different melody will play. Anytime, anywhere. This is a feature that the developers have worked especially hard on.

The composer promised that he will continue to publish one interesting fact a day until the release. This means that we will have 25 more posts about music. Sounds very interesting!

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is coming out on February 4th on consoles and PC. It was the top wishlist game on Steam for an entire year, but now it was replaced by Elden Ring.
