CS:GO and Steam again break records for the number of online players

The popularity of the spectacular shooter is simply incredible. The game continues to break its records, impressing and delighting its loyal fans. Valve did a great job creating a mega-popular game.

So, the shooter broke its record for concurrent online gamers, surpassing 1 519 457 users. And this is even though the super game is over ten years old. This time more than 1.8 million online users decided to shoot in a spectacular shooter.

This excellent shooter is the second most significant video game in Steam history, second only to the popular battle royale shooter PUBG: Battlegrounds, which is still astoundingly successful with 3.2 million users. Another surge of interest in CS:GO happened after the announcement of the next generation of the legendary FPS, Counter-Strike 2. Its release is expected this summer, but testing has already been launched.

As you know, Steam is also extremely popular now. Recall that a couple of years ago, the peak of simultaneously playing online players was 18,801,944. More than 26 million people played in February 2021; in October, a record of thirty million people was reached.

So far, this wonderful record has been broken. 33 598 520 people played online at the same time.
