Battlestate Games has announced that the upcoming PvE mode for 'Escape From Tarkov' will only be accessible through the new Unheard Edition, which costs $250. The recent decision made by the game publisher contradicted the previous promises made to the owners of the Edge of Darkness Edition. These owners were assured that they would have free access to all future add-ons. However, the decision was reversed, and the owners were asked to pay for the extra content. To appease the community backlash, developers offered a free PvE mode to EoD owners for six months; however, it failed to satisfy the community and the uproar continued.
