Halo Infinite Unannounced Multiplayer Modes Were Discovered

343i talked about only three additional playlists that will be added to the game by the end of 2021. However, enthusiasts found mods that the developers didn't talk about.

The names of the multiplayer modes that are not in Halo Infinite were shared by one of the users of the social network Reddit under the nickname WickedSoldier991. According to them, they saw hidden playlists after launching the game offline.

Judging by the plate, the menu was not intended for public use and it is likely that the developers simply forgot to remove it from the final build. WickedSoldier991 noted that playlists can be saved, but later the 343i disabled this feature. Among the modes, you can see different variations of the arena, tactics, and rating playlist.

Community manager of 343 Industries studio John Unishek said that by the end of 2021, the developers will add three playlists - Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All. The exact release date of the update has not yet been announced.

Critics have hailed Halo Infinite as a worthy sequel to the series, so the game is very promising right now. By the time this article was published, Halo Infinite had 79 ratings on Metacritic. The average Halo Infinite rating varies from 81 to 87%.

The reviewers liked the shooting mechanics, the open location design, the introduction of the grappling hook, the touching ending of Cortana's story, a solid story campaign, and solid multiplayer.

Among the shortcomings of Halo Infinite are the monotony of the environment, the standard set of activities in the open world, the lack of memorable moments, the problems of the progression system in the network game, and the lack of co-op at the start.

Halo Infinite is considered by most reviewers to be the high point of the series and the best game from 343 Industries. At the same time, many noted that in many ways the success of the novelty is based on a return to the ideas of the first parts of the franchise, and in some cases, journalists emphasize that the shooter is equally suitable for both veterans and newcomers to Halo.

According to players, Halo Infinite seems familiar from the first seconds - it's all the same shooter as 20 years ago, only modernized with pleasant little things. The hero can now slide while running fast and use the advertised grappling hook. They can climb to high or distant parts of the levels, and attract the necessary items, and fly into the enemy. Globally, these are almost the only innovations. Only pumping has appeared, but it is simply impossible to draw conclusions on it by the first hours.
