Remastered version of the original Quake has got Mature 17+

A rumored fresh form of the old title has obtained age status.

An FPS with the simple name “Quake” has shown up in an issued roster of the USA’s Entertainment Software Rating Board and has been identified as Mature 17+, a shooter is made for consoles and PC.

Bethesda has not had an official announcement of an updated version of the original game yet, but there are some proofs tell us a refreshed game is coming. Seven days ago Jerk Gustafsson, a developer at a Swedish company has made Wolfenstein, during the event with an interesting name “Let's Talk Quake” at QuakeCon of this year said: “Discuss the additional content MachineGames have contributed to this revitalized edition”. That phrase was the origin of all rumors about an enchanted game despite it was rapidly deleted from descriptive materials of the event.

Moreover, after that, another clue has been spotted, there have been two updates on SteamDB to the classic FPS, which has been released on Valve's PCs. The game has got a new beta branch, also as a 64-bit executable. It may tell us about refreshed graphics, however, maybe it’s a part of the puzzle around the remastered game as well.

Perhaps, Quake is not included in Bethesda’s plans of updating of classic franchises as Doom has been last years - Bethesda is hardly ever to make a fully brand-new FPS with not big enough hype splash, but regarding updates to the classical game, an age rating checklist, and QuakeCon upcoming later tonight, an approaching announcement of rebuild FPS sounds truthful.
