Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer (PC)
The second expansion to Diablo 3, a world most famous hack and slash game developed by Blizzard. DLC mainly introduces a new class of character: Necromancer. The downloadable content also offers new stash tabs, character slots and some cosmetic goodies. The Necro class has its own materials, gameplay, weapon or skills and abilities. The story has not been vastly improved. Rise of the Necromancer is not a vast expansion, like the first addon, Reaper of Souls. It is a small addon with new class and a few new features. The second expansion was released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.

Diablo 3 is action game with RPG elements. The video game is played online only and has single-player and multi-player modes. The story centers around fight with Evils, represented by Diablo. The player chooses classes and creates a customized character, Nephalem.By completing achievements, the protagonist moves up the levels. Each class has different skills. Rise of the Necromancer is the addon released to D3 main game. In order to use the expansion, the player needs to have access to Diablo 3 as well as to first DLC: Reaper of Souls they can get the video game on battle.net, an official Blizzards platform.
New Character and storyline Necromancer
New class introduced by DLC is called Necromancer. Necro class is making a comeback to Diablo 3, but it is reimagined. Necromancer was one of five original classes in Diablo, that later on disappeared from the video game. The earlier version of this class was revamped and improved.Necromancer is using raw material like blood and bone. It has signature abilities, like raising undead minions, making corpses explode, bone spear attacks, sucking away blood. Its weapons and armor includes phylacteries and scythes. Necro characters also has the ability to summon a half-formed golem, that can steal gold from defeated enemies.
Together with Necro class new gear sets, appearances were added. Apart from that, two new additional character slots and more slots in the in-game stash were added. Other cosmetic appearances like a portrait frame, a pennant of the character, a sigil, a banner design, were introduced. The addon introduces more space on the account for characters.
Necromancers are known as Rathma Priests. They decided to respond to the calling from Sanctuary, ending their time of trainings in the jungle. Trainings aim was to find a balance between vital and death powers.
Receptions of Gaming Industry and Players
Rise of the Necromancer DLC to Diablo 3 received good reviews from players and industry upon its release. Various gaming publications gave it great scores.
