Actually it is only the top of a long list of characters and villains you can meet or play as in your magical adventure. Each of the carefully designed Marvel characters has its own unique abilities.
Star Lord can fly, Black Panther activates claw switches upon request, Spider-Man of course does his signature moves, webswinging and wallcrawling. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 also features protagonists from different time periods and realities, thus including for instance Spider-Gwen, a cowboy version of Captain America, or the Gladiator Hulk.
