The story of DARKSIDERS GENESIS (XB1) unfolds several hundred years before the end of the world. Now the focus is on the two horsemen of the Apocalypse: War and Discord. After battling the Nephilim, they have a new mission: to deal with Lucifer, who has sparked strife in Hell and begun to gather small demonic princes around himself. So War takes on the most explosive and controversial of the foursome as his partner.
Gameplay
The game is structured simply as chapter-missions, there are quests with large locations where you can ride a horse. Sometimes chapters are entirely devoted to boss battles, but you almost always have to do some sort of routine. But boredom is kept at bay by the combat system. It's a slightly lighter version of the mechanics of the first Darksiders, but with two heroes at once Starters, sharp lunges, and airstrikes are also present.
